On May 22, a delegation from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) Mineral Development and Management Training Program, led by Mr. Wabenga Kalebo Théo, Secretary-General of the DRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd. Mr. Sun Jidong, Overseas Market GM at NMS, responded.
Speaking on international development, Mr. Sun noted that NMS currently operates 14 subsidiaries worldwide, including several in African countries where it has also established supporting warehouse facilities. He emphasized NMS’s long-standing and fruitful partnership with the DRC, which has resulted in multiple successful and impactful projects that continue to drive mutual development.
On corporate social responsibility, Mr. Sun stated that NMS upholds the values of professionalism, integrity, and altruistic management. The company actively contributes to society through initiatives such as rural poverty alleviation and university scholarships. In addressing environmental concerns, he emphasized the high efficiency and eco-friendly features of NMS equipment, noting the company’s efforts to reduce energy consumption and minimize dust emissions through innovative technical solutions.
Wabenga Kalebo Théo, Secretary General of the DRC Foreign Ministry, spoke.
Mr. Wabenga Kalebo Théo expressed strong interest in deepening cooperation with NMS. He highlighted the DRC’s rich mineral and human resources and warmly welcomed NMS to establish offices and manufacturing facilities in the DRC. He voiced expectations for more substantive collaboration between the two sides. NMS responded positively, recognizing the broad prospects for future cooperation.
After the meeting, the delegation toured NMS’s showroom, intelligent operation center, production workshops, and laboratories.
