From July 16 to 18, the Silk Road Mining Cooperation Forum & the 16th China Xinjiang International Mining Expo was held at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center under the theme of “Innovation, Sustainability, and Globalization.” NMS set up a 132-square-meter exhibition area at Booth A06 in Hall 2. On the first day of the event, NMS held the unveiling ceremony for equipment from its new business segment, where four innovative products made their debut and became a highlight of the exhibition.
Recently, the largest lithium processing plant in West Africa officially commenced operation in Nasarawa State, Nigeria. Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Tinubu, attended the commissioning ceremony. The project marks a significant step in Nigeria’s transition from exporting raw materials to developing higher-value mineral processing industries. As the project's core equipment supplier and engineering service provider, NMS delivered a comprehensive solution covering equipment supply, steel structure installation, and system commissioning.
Recently, the School of Minerals Processing and Bioengineering at Central South University(CSU) held its 2025–2026 Scholarship Award Ceremony. Li Shunshan, Chairman and President of NMS, attended the event in Changsha and presented certificates of honor to 36 recipients of the NMS Scholarship. He also engaged in discussions with students on industry trends and career development.
On the morning of June 8, the groundbreaking ceremony for China’s first major national landmark project under the 15th Five-Year Plan—the Three Gorges New Waterway Project—was held in Yichang, Hubei Province. Ding Xuexiang, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the ceremony and officially announced the start of construction. Over thirty years since the first major national projects on the Yangtze, NMS once again deployed its core equipment to support this strategic project, providing crucial concrete aggregate supply for construction.
On June 3, a delegation from the Namibian Mineral Processing Training Program, hosted by the International Business Officials Training Base (Jiangxi) under the Ministry of Commerce, visited NMS for a study and exchange tour. The delegation was warmly received by Cao Changming, General Manager of NMS Africa Branch, and other representatives from the company.
