NMSY(R) Series Vertical Sump Slurry Pumps

The NMSY(R) Series Vertical Sump Slurry Pumps are vertical centrifugal slurry pumps designed to operate with the pump submerged in the slurry. They are suitable for handling abrasive, coarse-particle, and high-density slurries. The pumps require neither a shaft seal nor seal water and can operate reliably even under insufficient suction conditions. The wetted components of the NMSY Series pumps are made of wear-resistant metal materials. For the NMSYR Series pumps, all submerged components are rubber-lined, making them suitable for handling abrasive slurries containing non-sharp particles.

The NMSY(R) Series Vertical Sump Slurry Pumps are widely used in wastewater treatment, agricultural irrigation, flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems in thermal power plants, as well as in mining, metallurgy, municipal engineering, power generation, coal, petroleum, chemical processing, and building materials industries.

  1. The pump adopts a vertical cantilever, single-casing structure.
  2. It is designed with a double-suction, semi-open impeller, available in wear-resistant alloy or rubber materials.
  3. The pump is equipped with a cartridge-type bearing assembly with high-capacity bearings. The bearings are grease-lubricated.
  4. The clearance between the impeller and wear plate is adjustable to ensure efficient and stable operation.
  5. The pump requires no shaft seal.
  6. The pump can be driven by either direct coupling or V-belt drive.
  7. The extended-shaft vertical sump pump series is suitable for deeper liquid level applications. Compared with the standard design, it incorporates an additional guide bearing structure, providing smoother operation and broader application range. However, flush water is required at the guide bearing section.
