The NMDP Series Dredge Pump is a marine centrifugal pump developed with advanced international technology for dredging, desilting, and reclamation applications in rivers, lakes, seas, and harbors. The pump features a simple and reliable structure, easy disassembly and maintenance, and is manufactured with high-chromium wear-resistant alloy materials, ensuring long service life. The NMDP Series is a single-stage, single-suction, overhung horizontal centrifugal pump. The impeller is designed with wide flow passages, providing strong solids-handling capability. It is resistant to clogging when conveying sand, gravel, or high-plasticity clay, and offers excellent suction and excavation performance.
The NMDP dredge pump is suitable for use on cutter suction dredgers and trailing suction hopper dredgers for dredging and reclamation operations. It can also be applied in river sand mining and mining vessels.
Product Features
The NMDP dredge pump is available in two typical configurations: integrated base-mounted type and pump-in-casing type. The base-mounted configuration adopts grease lubrication or oil lubrication.
The large-sized in-casing pump adopts a double-casing structure with integrated bearing frame, and is lubricated by forced oil circulation. The safety and reliability of the double-casing design allow the wear liner to operate until it is nearly fully worn, and in the event of liner failure, the pump casing remains watertight, preventing seawater ingress into the pump chamber.
The submersible pump series adopts a single-casing structure, reducing overall weight and facilitating lifting and movement operations.
The pump adopts a front pull-out structure, equipped with dedicated maintenance tools for convenient assembly and disassembly.
The pump features a steep head–flow curve, strong suction capability, and excellent solids-handling performance. It provides strong adaptability to discharge distance variations and enables greater dredging depth and higher slurry concentration delivery.
The liner, impeller, and front/rear wear plates are made of high-strength abrasion-resistant alloy cast iron with a hardness of not less than 58 HRC. The components offer both strong impact resistance and excellent abrasion resistance.
The pump is designed with an advanced hydraulic model, resulting in low hydraulic losses, high efficiency, and reduced energy consumption. During design, full consideration is given to the service life matching of components, ensuring that wear parts have similar replacement cycles, which reduces maintenance frequency and operating costs.
The shaft sealing system ensures stable operation and prevents leakage effectively.
