From November 6 to 8, the 2025 Jiangxi Foundry Annual Conference & Member Assembly of the Jiangxi Foundry Association were successfully held in Nanchang. During the event, Jiangxi Gold Intelligent Service Engineering Co., Ltd. (GIS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Nanchang Mineral Systems (NMS), was elected as a Vice-President Unit of the Jiangxi Foundry Association, Vice-President Unit.

This year’s conference, themed “Join Forces, Foster New Capabilities, and Shape a New Era of Excellence,” was hosted by the Jiangxi Foundry Association and co-organized by GIS. During the technical sharing session, Mr. Wu Feng, Head of the GIS Foundry Center, provided attendees with a detailed overview of the center’s core technologies and future development plans. He emphasized that the GIS Foundry Center, one of NMS’s key IPO investment projects, serves as a critical platform for supporting the company’s transformation from traditional manufacturing to a “manufacturing + service” model. The Foundry Center spans 200 mu, with a total investment approaching RMB 600 million, and is planned to achieve an annual output of 50,000 tons of high-quality alloy steel, high-chrome cast iron, and high-manganese steel castings. The project is being developed in two phases, each with a planned capacity of 25,000 tons. Phase I has now entered trial production.

Phase I is equipped with an internationally advanced intelligent sodium silicate sand production line and a domestically advanced semi-automatic sodium silicate sand line, enabling mass production of high-precision and complex castings. The center features stable quality, high production efficiency, and a high level of automation, while also delivering energy-saving and environmentally friendly performance. In addition, it houses a metallographic and spectroscopic lab, mechanical testing lab, chemical analysis lab, and molding sand testing lab, ensuring comprehensive quality assurance. Wu emphasized that GIS will continue to invest in green foundry technologies, process upgrades, and capacity expansion, aiming to build a benchmark smart and digital foundry that supports NMS’s transformation and drives regional industrial innovation.
