NMS Supports Successful First Ore Feeding Trial at Yishui 10 Mtpa Titanomagnetite Project

2025.12.08

Recently, the 10 million tpa beneficiation project at the Yishui Titanomagnetite Plant in Shandong Province successfully completed its first ore feeding trial, marking the transition of the project from the construction phase into full production. This achievement lays a solid foundation for the old revolutionary area of Yimeng to advance its goals of “efficient resource utilization and high-end industrial upgrading.”

The Shangyu Mining Area of Yishui County, Shandong Province, is located in Zhuge Town. The latest exploration identified a total of 462.894 million tonnes of iron–titanium ore resources, including 30.692 million tonnes of titanium dioxide, making it the largest titanomagnetite deposit discovered to date in Linyi City. The smooth progress of this project holds significant importance for improving regional resource utilization, supporting local industrial transformation, and driving regional economic development.

During the early-stage equipment selection process, NMS responded promptly to the client’s requirements by dispatching a team of sales and technical engineers for on-site investigation and ore sampling. Based on laboratory analysis and supported by the Flowsheet Designer software developed by the NMS Sweden R&D Center, the team designed a high-efficiency, reliable process flowsheet and a full life-cycle equipment solution tailored to project needs. Following on-site evaluations of NMS equipment at multiple reference projects and after multiple rounds of comparison, the owner and the design institute ultimately selected NMS’s HPF Bar Feeder, large JC1600 Jaw Crusher, large CC800 Single-Cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher, and YKR Circular Vibrating Screen as the project’s core equipment package.

The JC Series Jaw Crusher is one of the flagship products of NMS, integrating cutting-edge international technologies and extensive research achievements. It delivers high capacity, large crushing ratio, reduced wear, and an ultra-large feed size, significantly enhancing crushing efficiency. Its heavy-duty moving jaw assembly, robust structural design, and symmetrical crushing chamber ensure exceptional operational stability—even under demanding conditions. In addition, the wedge-type discharge adjustment system, combined with a no-anchor-bolt design and integrated motor installation, simplifies daily maintenance and greatly reduces O&M costs and complexity, delivering a highly user-friendly experience.

The NMS CC800 Cone Crusher is designed specifically for processing hard, abrasive, and difficult-to-crush ores, making it suitable for secondary, tertiary, and ultra-fine crushing operations. It features a constant discharge setting (CSS) and constant-profile crushing chamber to ensure stable product size. The innovative six-channel independent positive-pressure dust protection system provides reliable sealing performance; the new-generation overload protection system offers rapid response and strong load-handling capability; and the horizontal shaft double-oil-seal configuration further extends bearing service life. Additionally, nine interchangeable chamber types are available via liner replacement, while the modular design enables easier and more efficient maintenance.

During equipment installation and commissioning, the NMS after-sales service team provided full-process technical support, ensuring the successful completion of the first ore feeding milestone. Looking ahead, NMS will continue to support the stable operation of the project and assist the plant in achieving full-capacity production at an early date.
