Two Honorary Banners, Full Recognition: NMS Commended by Bensteel for Service Excellence
2026.03.02
Recently, NMS’s wholly owned subsidiary Jiangxi Gold Intelligent Service Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “GIS”) earned high recognition from the Nanfen Beneficiation Plant of Benxi Iron & Steel Group. The plant presented two honorary banners to resident Application Engineers Luo Wei and Deng Changcun. The banners bore the inscriptions: “Excellence in Crushing Maintenance, Professional Service Safeguards Production” and “Technical Expertise Overcomes Challenges, Thoughtful Service Warms the Heart.”These sincere words not only acknowledge the dedication of the two engineers, but also represent strong endorsement of NMS and GIS’s full lifecycle service philosophy.

Rooted on the Frontline, Fully Committed to Delivery
In October 2022, to ensure the successful implementation of a key project at Bensteel’s Nanfen Beneficiation Plant, NMS promptly assembled a multidisciplinary full lifecycle solution service team, aiming to establish the project as a benchmark for service excellence. Luo Wei and Deng Changcun were among the first core members deployed.
In early January 2023, shortly after the New Year, the team mobilized to the site to conduct preliminary surveys and technical assessments. Through in-depth communication with the client and meticulous verification of installation conditions, they laid a solid foundation for subsequent equipment installation and commissioning.
The project marked the first deployment of NMS’s large-scale CC800 single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher at Bensteel. Facing new equipment integration and stringent production requirements, the team successfully completed the installation and full-process commissioning of five CC800 cone crushers and two HPF2060 grizzly feeders. The system achieved first-time load commissioning success and immediate attainment of design capacity, ensuring smooth project start-up.

With reliable equipment performance and dedicated service support, NMS was awarded the title of “Important Cooperative Supplier (2022–2023)” by Bensteel, further strengthening long-term cooperation between the two parties.
Practical Optimization, Creating Measurable Value
For NMS, successful commissioning represents the starting point of service. The essence of full lifecycle support lies in sustained technical escort and continuous value creation.

Since July 2023, GIS has implemented a seamless resident inspection mechanism at the Nanfen plant. Two application engineers rotate on site to ensure year-round daily inspection coverage. During their assignment, they closely monitored operational performance and proposed practical optimization solutions based on in-depth process understanding, helping the client reduce costs and improve efficiency.
To address uneven liner wear caused by inconsistent material distribution, the team conducted continuous observation of material trajectories and proposed installing a centering device at the feed hopper. After implementation, material distribution became more uniform and liner wear improved significantly. On older production lines, average cone liner life was approximately 400 hours. On the new line, by adopting NMS high-performance wear liners and implementing the optimization solution, liner life exceeded 700 hours per set—an increase of over 75%—saving the client more than RMB one million annually in spare parts costs.
In process optimization, the team demonstrated equally strong technical capability. As the core link of the beneficiation process, the crushing system directly impacts annual production targets. The original configuration required two secondary crushers and three tertiary crushers operating simultaneously, resulting in high energy consumption and rapid wear. After systematic process analysis and on-site testing, the team proposed a “one operating, one standby” model. Following optimization, only one secondary crusher and two tertiary crushers are required to operate, while maintaining stable throughput of 1,650–1,700 tph. Equipment availability remains above 90%, effectively reducing energy consumption and wear while ensuring completion of annual production targets.

Empowerment Through Training, Building a Sustainable Team
While ensuring stable equipment operation, the service team consistently upholds the principle that the true value of service lies not only in solving problems, but in enabling clients to develop independent problem-solving capabilities. Therefore, training and empowerment run throughout every stage of resident service.
For maintenance personnel, the team conducted systematic training covering equipment structure, operating principles, and hands-on disassembly practices. They also assisted the client in gradually establishing standardized maintenance and overhaul procedures, facilitating the transition from experience-driven management to standards-driven management.

For frontline operators, the team provided on-site technical explanations during routine inspections and pre-shift briefings. The concept of precision inspection has now been integrated into daily operations. Operators are able not only to run the equipment, but also to interpret performance indicators, detect abnormalities proactively, and report them in a timely manner. This “teach-to-fish” approach has helped the client build a professional O&M team that remains long after the service team’s involvement.
The successful practice at Bensteel’s Nanfen Beneficiation Plant once again demonstrates the substantive value of NMS’s full lifecycle service model. For over five decades, NMS has remained committed to the crushing and screening sector, delivering premium solutions aligned with demanding operational requirements. To further strengthen aftermarket service capabilities, NMS established GIS to build a global service network supported by 24/7 emergency response and customized spare parts supply, forming a comprehensive service system that extends from product delivery to full lifecycle management.
The two honorary banners represent recognition—and motivation. Moving forward, NMS will continue to deepen its full lifecycle service commitment, empower clients through practical optimization and capability development, and deliver comprehensive, efficient, and reliable support to global partners worldwide.
