Namibian Mineral Processing Training Delegation Visits NMS for Exchange and Learning

2026.06.08

On June 3, a delegation from the Namibian Mineral Processing Training Program, hosted by the International Business Officials Training Base (Jiangxi) under the Ministry of Commerce, visited NMS for a study and exchange tour. The delegation was warmly received by Cao Changming, General Manager of NMS Africa Branch, and other representatives from the company.

During the visit, the delegation toured NMS’s production workshops and corporate exhibition hall, gaining a detailed understanding of the company’s development history, manufacturing capabilities, and intelligent management systems. Through on-site observation, participants gained an intuitive and in-depth appreciation of NMS’s technological strength and production scale in the mineral processing equipment sector.

In the subsequent seminar, Cao Changming provided a systematic introduction to NMS’s corporate culture, core products, and representative project cases, helping participants form a comprehensive understanding of the company. During the discussion session, trainees actively raised questions, engaging in in-depth exchanges with company representatives on equipment applications, technical services, and collaboration models.

Cao Changming responded to each question in detail. He highlighted that, in addition to large-scale industrial equipment, NMS also offers small-scale laboratory equipment for universities and research institutions, supporting teaching and testing needs. The company has established a comprehensive service system for on-site technical support and personnel training, enabling rapid response to client needs through remote guidance or on-site dispatch. NMS’s equipment features fully automated processes from feeding to finished products, equipped with intelligent control and monitoring systems, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and ease of use.

Regarding collaboration models, he explained that while NMS does not currently engage in joint ventures via equipment equity for early-stage mining projects, it offers equipment leasing services through local agents or intermediaries, with corresponding incentives. NMS has stationed personnel in Southern Africa, operating within the Namibian time zone with convenient access, ensuring timely technical support and efficient service delivery.

During the discussion, Cao Changming also shared practical experience on evaluating potential partners, including factors such as registered capital, workforce size, factory operations, and financial statements, providing useful guidance for selecting partners in China.

This exchange strengthened Namibian trainees’ understanding of NMS and laid a solid foundation for future collaboration. NMS will continue to deepen its presence in the African market, leveraging localized operations to provide efficient, intelligent, and reliable comprehensive mineral processing solutions for customers across the region.
