Three International Study Programs Visit NMS

Recently, NMS welcomed three groups from study programs organized by the Academy for International Business Officials of the Ministry of Commerce of China. They were the Study Program on Environment-Friendly Mining Development for Chile, the Study Program on Green Development and Ecological Protection for Developing Countries, and the Training Program on Mineral Development, Management and Processing Technologies for Gabon.

During their visits, the participants toured NMS’s production workshops, laboratories, exhibition hall, and Intelligent O&M Center. They gained first-hand insights into NMS’s equipment manufacturing and R&D capabilities, learned about the company’s development history, and experienced its intelligent O&M practices. They also gained a more direct understanding of NMS’s comprehensive capabilities spanning R&D, manufacturing, and services.

During the discussions, the three groups focused on different areas of interest. Participants from the Chile study program raised questions about particulate emission limits, water shortages, the application of recycled raw materials, quality control during equipment installation and testing, as well as artificial intelligence and robotics. Participants from the developing countries study program raised questions about equipment procurement and other related topics. Participants from the Gabon training program showed strong interest in mobile crushing and screening equipment. They asked whether the equipment is manufactured to order or available from stock, and discussed differences in heat treatment processes for different components. In response to the participants’ questions, relevant NMS representatives provided answers based on the company’s actual practices and introduced the company’s overall development.

Founded in 1970, NMS has been deeply engaged in the fields of metal mining and aggregates, specializing in the R&D, design, manufacturing, sales, and aftermarket services of crushing and screening equipment. It is one of China’s leading suppliers of medium and high-end mining machinery and equipment.

Under its “International NMS” strategy, NMS has established an R&D system supported by three research institutes: the Mining Technology and Equipment Research Institute, the Mining Design Research Institute, and the Mining Intelligence Research Institute. It has also established four R&D bases in Sweden, Beijing, Shanghai, and Nanchang. On this basis, NMS is committed to extending its capabilities from individual equipment to integrated system solutions, providing customers with full life-cycle services covering installation and commissioning, long-term maintenance, technical upgrades, and EPC general contracting. At the same time, NMS continues to develop its localized service system, establishing spare parts warehouses in Africa, Australia, the Americas, and other regions to provide strong support for overseas projects and customers. After years of development, NMS has established a broad global market presence, with 18 subsidiaries and branches and equipment exported to more than 60 countries and regions.

The successive visits of the three study programs conveyed a common message: the global mining industry is accelerating its transition toward green, low-carbon, intelligent, and sustainable development, while open cooperation is an inevitable choice. Going forward, NMS will continue to deepen practical cooperation with countries around the world in green mining, intelligent equipment, technological innovation, and talent development, bringing more Chinese equipment, technologies, and services to the world.
